The Utley Foundation on music and dementia - the next steps

The launch of the Report from the world’s first Commission on music and dementia, funded by the Utley Foundation and created by the ILC-UK, has highlighted the need for leadership and figurehead to drive forward the recommendations in the Report. The Utley Foundation has committed to fully funding the appointment of this ambassador and an independent taskforce to support the role.

This taskforce will work to raise ongoing awareness of the benefits of music for dementia, and to advance the accessibility of music for people living with dementia, their carers, and loved ones.
