Mel is a corporate lawyer and partner at international law firm DWF. He has been a trustee of the Utley Foundation since it was founded in 2014.

He has a longstanding interest in supporting veterans, particularly those from the Special Forces and related communities—and has been actively involved in developing the Utley Foundation’s Veterans Strategy
